Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to ignore conversations about the fast-approaching 2027 general elections in the country.
In a social media post, Edochie, a staunch supporter of the president urged the president to focus more on solving the challenges the country faces.
The filmmaker wrote, “To my dear President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, @officialasiwajubat. Please don’t let politicians distract you with 2027. We’re still in 2025. High cost of living and high rate of insecurity are still ravaging Nigerians. These 2 remain the most pressing issues to deal with. May God lead you, sir.”
Recall that Edochie recently appealed to President Tinubu to consider reviving the cashless policy introduced by former President Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that it helped reduce criminal activities and curbed the high cost of living.
