Inspector-General of Police IGP. Usman Alkali Baba has ordered a review of allegations leveled against DCP Abba Kyari by the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI.

An American district court had ordered the FBI to go after Kyari after he was linked with Abass Ramons, aka Hushpuppi in cases connected with alleged fraud in the US

But following the receipt of allegation and indictment processes from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) against, DCP Abba Kyari, Baba has ordered that an in-depth in-house review of the allegations in addition to every piece of information contained in it, be carried out.

The IGP said in a statement conveying directive for the probe, issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, that it will report details concerning the case as they unfold to the public as it was committed to the pursuit of justice, while also maintaining its professional relationship with the FBI and other international partners.
