Ikon Awards: Nancy Isime celebrates ‘Africa’s Rising Star’ win
Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has celebrated her win as Africa’s Rising Star at the recently-concluded Ikon Awards in Uganda.
Isime, who is one of the prominent actresses in Nigeria, cliched the award, which encompasses all African actors as a whole.
Expressing her joy in a post she made on her Instagram account, thanked the organisers of the award for the recognition.

She wrote, “AFRICA RISING STAR In order to achieve world dominance, one must first dominate their roots. One step at a time, One day at a time, One Intentional Seed at a time. Soon, the Global Stage will be home to Us, it Proudly Nigerian, Proudly African Va; Thank you @ikonawards, Thank you Uganda God remains the Greatest”
Nancy Isime has been in the game for over a decade, and she has put in a lot of work in her craft. Just recently, she got an award from the NAACP Awards, alongside actor Kunle Remi, who won the trailblazer award.
