Ikorodu General hopsital’s negligence killed Dejo Tunfulu – Actor Shitta-Bey

Veteran Nollywood actor, Remmy Shitta-Bey has blamed the death of his colleague, Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu, on the negligence of medical personnel at Ikorodu General Hospital.
ThisNigeria reported that Dejo passed away on April 1 after a brief illness.
Speaking on his demise, Shitta-Bey said that the deceased actor would have survived the illness if he was treated at a hospital outside the country.
“Dejo died as a result of their negligence at Ikorodu General Hospital. I always receive treatment from abroad whenever I get ill so I know that a simple malaria was not supposed to take his life.

“We practcally had to beg the personnel there to help us attend to the ailing actor. I was there with him. I know how many corpses I counted that were wheeled out of the premises at that time.
“I urge the government to do something about this before another life is lost. The state of our hospitals are terrible, the attitude of the workers is more horrible. They have no value for life,” he said.
