Ikorodu LCDA boss commends Gov. Sanwo-Olu for approving camp

The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Mr. Olusesan Daini has commended Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for giving approval to the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) to organize the Sports Summer Camp in Ikorodu.

Daini, according to a statement issued by the LSSS Director of Public Relations, Titi Oshodi-Eko, made the commendation when he visited the campers at the Oriwu College, Ikorodu.

“The Executive Chairman attested that the camping would enable the campers to have a better relationship and promote teamwork.

“Daini urged the campers to transform what they are learning at the Lagos Sports Summer Camp to life-changing activities for a better tomorrow.

“Daina stressed that the participants could be a producer of large power banks if they concentrate on what you were being taught, one of the main reasons of the summer camp,” she said.

Oshodi-Eko added that the chairman promised to reward campers during the closing ceremony of the seven-day event on Saturday.

“The seven-day Phase Two of the Three Phase camping which is 60 percent sports and 40 percent of teaching life skills will end on Saturday, Aug. 28 while the Phase 3 for Lagos Central will hold from Sept. 5 to Sept. 11 in Surulere,” she said.
