I’m very happy at Napoli – Osimhen

Super Eagles and Napoli’s striker, Victor Osimhen says despite the present challenges he is going through at Napoli, he is still very happy at the club and has no intention to quit the club this season.

Osimhen has reportedly attracted interest from clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle with a sum of £85 million being spoken of as the amount to acquire the services of Osimhen.

However, the 23-year-old Nigerian has rejected talks of a potential transfer and mentioned that he had discussions with the Napoli president about staying with the club.

“I’m in Napoli. And I have great respect for my club,” he said.

“They are just rumours of the market. I’m fine here and I’ve never had such close relationships with everyone as at this moment.

“I spoke to the president, he is the one who decides, and he reassured me by explaining the club’s plans.

“I am happy with what he told me and the purchases are of quality: words were followed by deeds. I am very happy to play with Napoli and we will see in the future.”
