Boboski, Notorious Kidnapper and Murderer, Arrested in Rivers State

Honest Digbara, notoriously known as Boboski, has been arrested yesterday by the Rivers State Police Command. Boboski hailed from Nwibara in Gokana LGA of Rivers state and was a kidnapper, cultist, and murderer.

A ₦30 million bounty had been placed on Boboski’s head by Governor Nyesom Wike prior to his arrest. And it was the combined efforts of the Rivers State Police Command and local vigilantes that led to the arrest of Boboski. Boboski is attributed to be behind numerous kidnappings and murders in the state, including the murders of SP Moses Egbede (Divisional Crime Officer, Afam Division), and a soldier and Civil Defence official.

It was reported that Boboski tried to escape arrest by opening fire upon sighting the police, but he couldn’t because his driver was badly injured in the shootout.

Update: Boboski, leader of the Greenlanders cult, who was arrested by the Rivers State Police Command has been confirmed dead.

Boboski was said to have died, shortly after his arrest, in the presence of journalists at the Police Headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt. His death is as a result of gunshot wounds from the shootout with the police as he tried to escape. 

His body has been moved to the mortuary.
