
Some angry protesters have pulled down the main gate of the National Assembly in Abuja.
According to reports, the gate was pulled down over the refusal of security operatives stationed at the building to open it at the request of the protesters.

The protesters were led by Joe Ajaero of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress boss, Festus Osifo on Wednesday.
ThisNigeria reports that the NLC and TUC are protesting the hardship being faced by Nigerians over the removal of fuel subsidy.
