The convoy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar was attacked in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign, Dino Melaye confirmed the convoy was attacked at the Ramat Square in Maiduguri on Wednesday.

Melaye said that 74 people were injured and hospitalized.

“They wanted to prevent us from holding the campaign, as we speak, 74 people were injured and hospitalised. Several vehicles were vandalised by APC thugs,” he said.
