Those behind Kogi prison break will hear from us soon – Fani-Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that the attack on the Kabba Correctional Centre in Kogi state was a deliberate one.

FFK made the claim via Instagram on Monday.

ThisNigeria reported that gunmen invaded the facility and killed two security operatives during the attack.

According to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, over 200 inmates escaped from the prison, some of whom have voluntarily returned.

Reacting to the attack, Fani-Kayode said that the act was to undermine the state Governor, Yahaya Bello.

Sharing a photo of himself and the Kogi governor, FFK wrote: “The prison break & murder of security men in Kogi was contrived. It is a similar plot to the EFCC one. Those behind it need to know that when God is with someone nothing can stop him.

“Trying to undermine & discredit Yahaya cannot work. Those behind it will hear from us soon.”
