Isaac Fayose backs Kemi Badenoch

Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose, has warned some Nigerians to stop bashing Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the British Conservative Party.

Earlier, Badenoch, who identifies as Yoruba, had distanced herself from being categorised alongside northern Nigeria.

The development has since created a stir on Nigeria social media space. While some condemn the politician for berating Nigeria, others backed her for speaking her truth.

Reacting in a video he posted online, Isaac, who spoke in Nigeria pidgin blasted those offended by Badenoch’s statement.

He cautioned them to allow her make her decision’s without fear of being bullied online by some Nigerins.

He said, “When the former Prime Minister of Britain, Richie Sunak was there, nobody dey drag am o, all the Indian people allowed him to serve well. Even the Mayor of London, the people of Pakistan no dey drag am, dey allow am do him work, they didn’t start asking him to do PR for their country with his office.

“But Kemi Badenoch turn, allow her breath, she say she no dey do PR for Nigeria. To be Naija no be by force, let Kemi breath. Allow her do the work wey God send her for Great Britain. And if una think say the dragging no go make her enter, na this dragging sef go make her enter and when she enter, she no go borrow una money.” (sic)
