The social media and mini blogs today were flooded  with reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s son Yusuf  will be getting married to Zahra Nasir Bayero, the daughter of the Emir of Bichi Emirates in Kano state.

Reports have it that the wedding was put on hold because the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, was not around and that now she is back from Dubai hence the wedding will hold soonest.

A source from the palace of the Emir of Bichi said that the story is true and that they (Zahra and Yusuf) met at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, were they both studied

Zahra is a graduate of  Architecture.

The palace sources said: “Yes it is true Yusuf Buhari and Zahra Bayero, daughter of Emir of Bichi, are in a relationship they met in United Kingdom .”

” Although both families are in the know of the relationship no formal meeting about the marriage yet, but there are hopes that  from both families that they will be getting married soon.”

Another online site said: “Preparations are on top gear for the grand event. As the tradition provides, the parents of the groom have met with the parents of the bride to express Yusuf’s interest in marrying Zahra,”
