Grand Conspiracy: How Ayu was used to stop Wike’s emergence as Atiku’s running mate
ThisNigeria reported that Wike was conspired against by some “vociferous forces” within the Peoples Democratic Party, who claimed that the Rivers Governor would be “uncontrollable” as the Vice President.
Wike had secured most of the votes by the party’s screening committee. However, the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar picked Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa over him.
Meanwhile, the Rivers Governor has continued to maintain silence over the ill-treatment meted on him by some members of the party.
