Explosion: President Buhari commiserates with Emir of Kano

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the people and Emir of Kano State, Aminu Ado Bayero, over the gas explosion which claimed many lives in the state on May 17.

The president said this when he visited the Emir at his palace in Kano as part of his working visit to the state.

Buhari landed in Kano for the Nigerian air force day on Monday, May 23.

The president thanked the people of the state for their continued support of his administration.

The Emir however expressed his profound gratitude for the visit of the president to the palace, he said the state has always been a home to the president, and many people have great respect for him.

Bayero lauded the present administration for its commitment to infrastructure development in the state and the country at large.

He further assured the president of the Emirate’s support to ensure the successful completion of his tenure in office. (NAN)
