
Kano state has announced that all schools resume.
This was announced by the Commissioner for Higher Education, Mariya Mahmoud. She said that all tertiary institutions in Kano should reopen on October 26 for the continuation 2019/2020 session.
This was disclosed at a meeting with stakeholders.
She said the government has decontaminated schools but regardless, they would be providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to all the institutions to protect students and check the spread of coronavirus.
She also confirmed that schools have been fumigated and PPEs have been distributed to over 8,500 public and private schools.
