Alleged Rape: I’m not in support of baba ijesha-Foluke daramola

Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola has corrected the misconception surrounding her stand on the rape controversy involving her industry colleague, Olarenwaju James a.k.a Baba Ijesha.
Foluke had come under harsh criticism for reposting an Instagram post by actor Yomi Fabiyi, which seemingly supported Baba Ijesha.
Speaking after the backlash she received from Nigerians, Foluke stated that she was not in support of Baba Ijesha’s actions.
“As a rape survivor myself, I will never support Baba Ijesha. All I asked was that we wait for investigations to be concluded by the police. That post was by Yomi Fabiyi and I only reposted it. I am a mother and I will never support such.

“My daughter once complained about being harassed by a boy. I reported the case to the Police and nothing came out of it,” she said
Recall that Baba Ijesha was recently arrested by the police in Lagos for molesting an underage girl.
According to police, the suspect confessed to the crime and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, ordered for proper investigation and promised to do justice to the matter.
