Kidnapers of Salihu Tanko Islamiyy pupils were given N55m, six motorcycles – Parents

Parents of the pupils of Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, Tegina, in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger who were released yesterday have said that about fifty-five million naira ransome was paid to the kidnappers.

The parents who are at Bosso Low Cost Primary Health Care center in Minna, Niger State capital were the children are receiving Medical treatment full of joy.

One of the parents of the released children, Hauwau Abdulrahman from TEGINA, who has seven kids thanked God for making the release of her kids.

She said further that ransome was paid to the bandits which include six motorcycle, and fifty-five million naira before they acceded to the release of the children.

Also, Sadiya Munkaila from TEGINA, who one of her child Jafar was among the children released, expressed happiness noting that before now it was a sad moment to them, knowing that her child was in the hands of the kidnappers.
