Kings College Old Boys to host education teleconference

The 111th annual founder’s day anniversary of the King’s College is on Saturday, the 19th of September 2020, and it provides an opportunity for the Old Boys Association of the school to make a statement about education in the country.
It is no news that the educational system in Nigeria is not as standard as it should be and the Kings College Old Boys Association will be deliberating, through teleconference, with stakeholders in the Education sector and government on solutions to the problems facing education in the country.
Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice-president, and Aminu Muhammed, Deputy Secretary-General, are billed to host the discussion, while Prof Akin Abayomi, Lagos Commissioner for Health, MuhammaduSanusi, former Kano state Emir, Justice Adeniyi Adetokunbo Ademola (rtd), President of St. Gregory’s College Old Boys Association are among the invited panelists.
“Education, the Way Forward” is the theme of the keynote lecture of the teleconference.
