The son of International Gospel singer, Kirk Franklin has released a video of his father threatening to break his neck if he ever disrespect him.
Franklin’s son Kerrion, 32 who post the phone conversation between himself and his dad said that that is what he goes through behind close doors with his dad and that no father should ever talk to his son like that.
Kerrion, said that he is done. saying “No father should speak to their children like this. If I have any issues it’s because Of this type of treatment that ii deal with behind closed doors.
Kerrion lamented that Kirk Franklin has deep hatred toward him and that the recording (conversion) was too embarrassing for him to dealing with.
He said: ”Hanging up in my face, No apology, no compassion, no effort. Stop telling me to go home to my family I don’t even know where they live. I don’t think I’ll ever trust my father to be alone around him ever again.
”I didn’t want to do this. I probably won’t release the entire recording because it’s too embarrassing that Im even dealing with this. No matter what ppl think I pray my dad deals with his deep hatred toward me.
”I don’t feel safe around him at all. This recording is recent it is not from 2018 just to clarify. Im going to learn from these experiences, live my life in peace and make beautiful art 🙏🏽”

However Kirk Franklin has apologized for to his son and his fan saying that he is not perfect and that he is human.

He went on to say that him and Kerrion have been having a toxic relationship for many years and that in the conversation they were having a conversation he extremely disrespected him but he is sorry to all.
Franklin: “Recently my son and I had an argument that he chose to record,” Franklin said in a video responding to his son’s post. “I felt extremely disrespected in that conversation and I lost my temper and I said words that are not appropriate and I am sincerely sorry to all of you. I sincerely apologize.”

Kerrion has rejected Franklin’s apology, saying that his dad apologies were for his fans and followers and not him
“He apologized to his fans only and not me. This is why I’m done.”.
“[Please] do not crucify my father, I am not here to bash him across the board.”
