Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has commiserated with the family of late prominent politician, Alhaji Atanda Zoro, who died on Saturday.

The governor expressed his condolence on the death of the politician in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin on Sunday.

“Alhaji Atanda Zoro was a statesman and a community leader who was very passionate about the growth of our community.

“He was a vivacious old man who loved to make peace with everyone, no matter their differences.

“I pray the Almighty Allah to repose the soul of the astute politician in al-jannah Firdaus and comfort all those who mourn him,” the statement read in part
