A lady, Diji Chinonso, is presently trending on X platform (formerly Twitter) for allegedly using a man’s hospital photos to scam hundreds of netizens.
It was gathered that Chinonso, who is not related to the man, claimed that he was his father and pleaded with netizens to help save his life.
Unknown to her, the man in the picture had died.
A relative of the late man saw the photos and confronted her with proof.

Chinonso had posted, “My father is fighting for his life in the hospital. A blood clot in his brain which affected his sense and movement we are going for operation. The operation cost N1.2 million and at this point, we are exhausted. Please, I’m here to ask for your financial support and also your prayer, nothing is too small.” (sic)
She added her account details to the tweet.
Reacting, another user, CFC Denzel, blasted her for lying with his uncle’s picture.
“This is my uncle who died on the 2nd of January this year, you have the mind to use a dead man’s picture for a scam. You’ll be fished out and made to pay for this nonsense,” he guaranteed.
