The Lagos State Government has denied reports that suspended Lagos Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo has been appointed head of Transport Parks and Garages Management Committee.
Gboyega Akosile, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, issued the denial via Twitter on Friday.
ThisNigeria reported that MC Oluomo’s son, King West had announced on Instagram that his father had been appointed “GM/MD of Lagos State Transport Parks and Garages Management Committee”, following his suspension by the NURTW for “gross insubordination and incitement”.

Debunking the reports, Akosile tweeted “ALERT: Please disregard post(s) claiming that Gov @jidesanwoolu has appointed suspended Chairman of NURTW, MC Oluomo as GM, Lagos Transport Parks and garages committee.
“There’s no such appointment. The statement issued yesterday by @gbenga_omo, HC info, remains position of Govt.”
