LASG shuts down nine hotels for violating environmental laws

The Lagos State Government has shut down nine hotels and a company for violating the state’s environmental laws.

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) carried out the closures in line with its mandate to safeguard the environment from pollution and other violations.

The establishments, located in various parts of Lagos State, were sealed due to identified instances of noise pollution and other environmental transgressions.

The Lagos State Government urged businesses to comply with environmental regulations and standards, emphasizing that non-compliance will not be tolerated.
