Life has been meaningless since my mother died – Wizkid

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid, has disclosed that since the death of his mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, life has been meaningless for him.

He shared this on his Instagram story.

“Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey!” he said.

ThisNigeria reported that his mother died on August 18, 2023 and was buried on October 18.

On December 11, the singer announced a N100m Christmas gift for children to honour his late mother.
