Live in peace with your host communities, neighbours – Chief Alloy tells Igbo traders

As the situation in Nigeria continues without an end in sight, Igbo traders in Kwara state have been urged to live in peace and harmony with their host communities and neighbors even as they embark on their daily business activities and other genuine human endeavors.

Speaking when he received the executives and members of Kwara Igbo Traders Association at his residence in Ilorin on Saturday, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, the NWACHIGOZIRI 1, enjoined them to be at peace with their fellow neighbours irrespective of their tribe, religion, or political affiliations.

He said the present economic hardship cum high level of insecurity in Nigeria calls for prayers, vigilance, and tolerance amongst Nigerians.

According to him, “what affects you affects your neighbours too, either positively or negatively, so try to live in peace with everyone around you and give a helping hand if you have, hunger and insecurity don’t know tribe or religion ” he said.

He prayed God to continue to protect all Igbos across Nigeria and for an enduring peace to return to all states with serious security challenges.

Responding on behalf of KWAITA, the president, chief Emma Ezezuo said they were on the visit to congratulate chief Chukwuemeka on his recent conferment as NWACHIGOZIRI 1 in Ehime Mbano Imo state.
