LMC slams heavy fines on Heartland FC, Baldwin Bazuaye

Heartland FC of Owerri has been charged for breaching the NPFL Framework & Rules in the Matchday 9 game at MFM FC.
Heartland breached the NPFL Framework & Rules after shirts & shorts worn by its players didn’t display numbers, surnames and club name & logo.
These acts breached Rules B9.7-8 for non-display of name & number on kits & B9.26 for wearing unregistered kits of the NPFL Framework & Rules
A fixed penalty of N100,000 is imposed on Heartland as well as a fine of N1 million for the breach.

Heartland has 48 hours to appeal the sanction.
Katsina Utd head coach Baldwin Bazuaye is in breach Rule C1.4 of the NPFL Framework & Rules during the Matchday 9 game at Akwa Utd.
Bazuaye was issued a reprimand for inappropriate dressing and reminded to set a positive example for players as enshrined in the Code for Managers/Coaches.
Also Nasarawa Utd team manager Solomon Babanja has also been charged for breaching the NPFL Framework and Rules.
Babanja was charged for wearing a foreign club jersey during a league game which flouts C1.4 of the NPFL Framework and Rules that stipulates club officials must wear appropriate clothing (club branded, corporate or business attire).
Babanja was admonished and reminded to set a positive example for players and others as listed in the Code of Conduct for Managers/Coaches.
