About three thousand maize farmers in Borno State got a boost from the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL). These farmers were picked from the Biu local government area of the state.
Aliyu Abdulhammed, the Managing Director of NISRAL, hopes that the initiative would help the residents make their lives better and confidently regain their communities.
The launch of the event took place at the palace of the Emir of Biu over the weekend.
