Man Runs for His Life as Cult Group Hunts Him After Brother’s Murder

The Ojieaga family has been plunged into fear and uncertainty following the sudden disappearance of one of their sons, David Ojieaga, amid allegations of cult-related threats tied to the violent death of his twin brother years earlier. Family members say repeated attempts to reach him have failed, raising concerns over his safety and whereabouts.
Family sources revealed that David had relocated to Lagos where he worked as an Uber driver after fleeing repeated attacks linked to the killing of his twin brother, Ojieaga Harrison, in October 2019. Harrison was reportedly a member of the notorious Black Axe confraternity before attempting to renounce his membership; a decision that allegedly led to his brutal killing by members of the group.
According to relatives, the tragedy did not end there. Shortly after Harrison’s death, suspected cult members allegedly approached David and demanded that he replace his late twin brother in the confraternity or face the same fate. His refusal reportedly triggered years of intimidation, violent assaults, and constant threats against him and his family.
In a desperate attempt to survive, David secretly fled his hometown and began a quiet life in Lagos, earning a living as a ride-hailing driver. However, the family said their fears resurfaced in 2024 after David unknowingly picked up a passenger believed to be affiliated with the cult group, who allegedly recognised him and resumed tracking his movements.
David has since vanished without trace, with family members unable to contact him by phone or locate him physically. The disturbing development has left relatives fearing the worst, as concerns continue to grow that he and possibly other members of the family may have fallen victim to the violent group.
