A man allegedly stabbed his daughters aged 1 and 7 years, also attempted suicide with the same object after an alleged altercation with his wife at Ziwani estate in Nyandarua County, Kenya.
He tried setting their house on fire though the fire caused a lot of damages.
Both the children and the man are currently in the hospital with multiple knife stab wounds.
He is under police guard.
There was no clear indication of what prompted the man to stab his daughters, but a source said the man has been hell-bent on DNA be conducted to be sure of the paternity.
