Former Military Head of State General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd),  has said that he believe that the  Nigerian military is over  overstretched but not overwhelmed.

Babangida made this known while speaking to Arise TV on Friday

He said: The military, I believe, has the wherewithal to fight this banditry and bring it to an end, But I believe that they are overstretched because of the space that they have to occupy.

Babangida also said that his government did better in dealing with corruption than the current government.

He said that he sacked a governor for misappropriating  three hindered … naira ..

He said ” I sacked a governor for misappropriating less than N313,000
