Mixed reactions have trailed the sudden demise of the Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
ThisNigeria reported that the late governor died in Lagos after a prolonged battle with Leukemia.
Reacting to his demise, an X user @presh said “I hope other politicians learn that if you don’t make basic healthcare accessible, nothing will save you. May his soul rest in peace,”
Also reacting @Queen_Aeesha said “Omoo RIp to him sha, but why was he the governor when he knew he has health issue?? Omoo these men should allow their bodies to rest na,”
Ejiofor said, “May his soul rest in peace. He shouldn’t have done what he did with power in the last days of his life. He wanted to rule from sick bed to grave, same he criticised Umaro Musa Ya’radua during his reign.”
