The Baale of the community where late singer, Mohbad, was buried has disclosed that the father of the artiste wanted to bury him at midnight but was prevented.
In a video sighted by ThisNigeria, the Baale, speaking in Yoruba said, he was the one who didn’t allow them to bury him at night.
He said, “I am the one that didn’t allow them to bury him. The father called me, they wanted to bring him in at midnight but I said no.
“His father called me the night, at first I didn’t pick and when I did, I said no. You can’t bury him at night. The shovels and others are still here.”
ThisNigeria reported that Mohbad died mysteriously on Sept. 12 and was buried the following day.

However, his death has continued to raise questions following the sighting of footage of Sam Larry, a close friend of his former record label boss, Naira Marley, assaulting him.
The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday said the DSS would join in investigating the cause of the singer’s death as he assured that justice would be done.
