Mohbad: Naira Marley’s sister cries out over brother’s detention

Naira Marley’s sister, Subomi has expressed displeasure over the continued detention of the Afrobeats star by the police, as part of the investigation into the death of Mohbad.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, she wrote; “keeping someone who willingly travelled back to help in detention for 30 days, with no charge, no evidence, no sufficient witnesses is a violation of his human rights.

“keeping him in custody to appease social media and the internet mob is crazy.”

According to her, Naira Marley had voluntarily returned to Nigeria from abroad to cooperate with the police in their investigation into MohBad’s death.

She begged the police to release Naira Marley, saying it shouldn’t take this long for an investigation to be done.

ThisNigeria reported that Naira Marley was arrested by the police on October 3, 2023, as part of an ongoing investigation into the death of Mohbad.
