Impostors in the Nursing Ranks

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, Katsina State Council on Wednesday rejected two suspected female nurses who were arrested by the police in Katsina. These women were posing to be their colleagues.
Grace Ejigu and Misira Tijani who worked at Okmos Clinic in Kofar Laura quarters in Katsina State were arrested on Monday by the Katsina Police Command officers for their alleged involvement and attempt to sell a newborn baby girl to a woman called Eucharia Onyema.
Mr Haruna Mamman, the Chairman of the Katsina State Council of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives revealed this on Wednesday in a press conference held at the State Secretariat of the State Council.
He told reporters that the association swung into action immediately to authenticate the identity, membership, and qualifications of the two suspects.
They visited the hospital and interviewed both the Proprietor of the hospital, Dr E.E Eze and the two imposters in question. Their findings revealed that they were indeed imposters.
