An Anglican Priest, Ven Isaac Awowole on Sunday observed that moral and qualitative education can go a long way in reducing crimes like internet fraud, ritual killings, and kidnapping now rampant among youths in Nigeria.

Awowole, the Vicar-in- charge of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Edo, Ikare-Akoko in Ondo state in his homily said parents, church, and school need joint and collaborative effort to mold the life of the children morally to be able to prepare them for future challenges.

He cautioned communities, religious bodies, old students, and well-to-do citizens against leaving investment in education to the government alone in order to get qualitative education for the children.

The Anglican cleric condemned the situation where teenagers are involved in rituals at the expense of going to school.

According to him, religious bodies should be alive to their responsibility of molding the lives of young children by attending Sunday schools where scripture is being taught.

Awowole urged religious leaders to always pray, offer genuine advice to those in authority so as not to be misled.
