Moscow marked words of possibility of Ukraine’s NATO membership, Kremlin

Russia said on Wednesday that it had noted U.S. President Joe Biden’s statement about the possibility of Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov who said this in an interview added that Russian President Vladimir Putin, would, if necessary, voice the country’s position on the issue at the NATO summit in Geneva.

“As for Ukraine, we heard that, that President Biden hypothetically allowed the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO.

“This is a new element. No such statements have been made before.
“Of course, in Moscow, we paid full attention to it.
“I have no doubt that, if necessary, the President will clearly outline our position,” Peskov said.
