Rosemary Oromoni, mother of the late 12-year-old student of Dowen College,Sylvester Oromoni has tragically passed away.
According to reports, Mrs. Oromoni died on November 25, 2024, due to trauma and grief related to her son’s death.
Recall that Sylvester Oromoni Jr. passed away in December 2021 under controversial circumstances, following an alleged bullying incident at the hands of his seniors at Dowen College.
Despite public outcry and initial arrests, the five students implicated in the incident were later acquitted after investigations, with the Lagos State government citing the Director of Public Prosecution’s legal advice.
Following the death of her youngest child, Rosemary battled with health issues caused by the emotional toll of grief and later succumbed to death two years after her son’s demise.
