The Lagos State Police command has arrested a man identified as Amos Olaleye for killing his younger sister.
Olaleye was arrested after he was stopped during a stop and search operation by the police on his way to dump his sister’s corpse in a river at the Ikorodu area of the state.
In his confession, the suspect who is an internet fraudster said his mother encouraged him to kill his sister to end poverty in their family.
According to him, his mother took him to a native doctor who instructed him to kill his most loved sibling for him to be successful in life.
The native doctor told him to have sex with the corpse, remove vital organs from her body for the ritual before throwing her remains in the river.
He said his mother killed his sister by mixing poison into her food before he slept with her.
The suspect is currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba
