. Can you share your testimony and how your faith journey has influenced your music and ministry?

My greatest testimony is finding God early in life, which has given my life purpose and helped me focus on what truly matters. My faith journey has been the foundation of everything I do, my life, my music ministry, and the content I create.
Growing up, I was surrounded by music, from singing in children’s church choirs to the songs my family played at home. This early exposure to music deeply shaped me and continues to influence my journey today.

My faith inspires every song I write and every piece of content I create. The messages I share are rooted in the truths I’ve discovered through scripture and my personal experiences. Music has become my avenue for worship, my way of expressing gratitude for God’s goodness, and a platform to share messages of hope, redemption, and love.

. How do you balance your roles as a Gospel artist, content creator, and motivational speaker?

Balancing my roles as a gospel minister, content creator, and motivational speaker comes down to aligning my purpose and staying organized. I ensure that each role reflects a common message of faith, hope, and encouragement. To manage my time effectively, I rely on a structured schedule, dedicating specific periods to each role and batching content to maximize efficiency. Staying grounded in my faith provides the strength and direction I need. Ultimately, it’s about staying focused on my “why”, to inspire and uplift others—while prioritizing balance and self-care.

. What inspires your music and content creation, what message do you hope listeners take away from your songs and content?

My music and content creation are inspired by my personal faith journey, the stories of those around me, my lived experiences and the desire to uplift and encourage others. I draw inspiration from the challenges and triumphs of life, the power of hope, and the transformative love of God. Whether it’s in moments of joy or struggle, I seek to express the deep emotions and experiences that connect us all.
The message I hope listeners take away from my songs and content is one of hope, faith, and resilience. I want them to feel empowered, knowing that no matter what they face, they are never alone, and that they can overcome obstacles with God’s strength and love.
Ultimately, my goal is to use music and content as tools for healing, inspiration, and personal transformation, while pointing people back to a deeper connection with God.

. How do you stay creative and fresh in your content creation and music production?

To stay creative and fresh in content creation and music production, I focus on my purpose of inspiring and uplifting others, which keeps me motivated. I draw inspiration from life experiences, collaborate with others for new perspectives, and experiment with different styles and formats to keep things exciting. Engaging with my audience and seeking feedback sparks new ideas. My faith is also central, as it provides spiritual renewal and inspiration.

. What challenges have you faced in your career and how have you overcome them?

Some of the biggest challenges have been overcoming self-doubt, managing time between multiple roles, and facing the pressure of staying relevant. Self-doubt, especially in the beginning, made it hard to trust my own voice and abilities. Over time, I’ve learned to lean on God and trust that my purpose is bigger than my fears.
Balancing music, content creation, and speaking engagements has been challenging, but I’ve overcome it by staying organized, and setting priorities.
Staying consistent while maintaining creativity can be tough, but by drawing inspiration from life experiences, collaborating with others, and keeping God at the centre of it all, I continue to grow and push through obstacles. Each challenge has been an opportunity to learn, adapt, and rely more on God’s guidance in my work.

. How do you engage with your audience and build a community of supporters?

To connect with my audience and build a supportive community, I prioritize authenticity and interaction. I share real experiences, respond to comments, and engage through Q&As and polls. I also create shared experiences, such as events and virtual gatherings, and highlight my supporters’ stories to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration. This approach transforms my audience into an engaged, active community. With The Firstborn Tribe, my latest community, I have experienced firsthand the power of sharing real stories and addressing the unique challenges faced by many firstborns. It’s been incredible to witness an “army” of firstborns embracing their roles as trailblazers, maximizing their potential, and ready to build lasting legacies.

. Can you share a particularly impactful moment or experience from your ministry or performances?

An impactful moment from my ministry was a ministration in one of my videos on my YouTube channel Worship with Ruth. I posted a video of me singing a medley of worship songs in my dialect, a lady sent me a direct message. She shared that she had been going through a deeply challenging time — battling betrayal and feeling isolated and that my ministration had reminded her of God’s faithfulness and the strength He provides in tough times.
She said that at that moment, during the song, she felt a shift in her spirit and a renewed hope. It was incredibly humbling to hear how the ministration had spoken directly to her pain and helped her rediscover peace. That experience reminded me that the purpose of my music ministry reaches far beyond entertainment or personal fulfilment because when I recorded that session, I was going through a very difficult time, and by all logic, I shouldn’t have been able to deliver that ministration. Yet, I didn’t let it stop me. It is about creating genuine connections, offering healing, and bringing hope to others through the gifts I’ve been given.
I have received similar testimonies through some of my content on TikTok, too.
It was a powerful reminder that God uses our moments of vulnerability, our struggles, and our talents to reach others in ways we might never fully understand. That connection reinforced my sense of calling and deepened my commitment to continue using my music and contents to touch lives and bring encouragement knowing that God is more interested in my development than he is in my comfort.

. How do you incorporate your faith into your content creation and speaking engagements?

Incorporating my faith into my content creation and speaking engagements is central to everything I do. I believe that the message of hope, love, and transformation through Christ should shine through in every piece of content I create and every word I speak.
Whether it’s through music, social media, or speaking engagements, I share personal stories of how God has worked in my life. These stories reflect my struggles, victories, and moments of spiritual growth. By being open and vulnerable, I allow my audience to see how faith shapes my decisions, creativity, and resilience.
In my content (videos, blogs, social media posts), I intentionally include messages of hope, encouragement, and spiritual growth. I often share scriptures, inspirational quotes, or personal reflections on faith, offering insights that can uplift and challenge my audience to deepen their relationship with God.
I encourage my audience to apply faith in their daily lives, not just in moments of worship. In my content, I often speak about trusting God through challenges, finding purpose in His plan, and staying hopeful through life’s ups and downs. This helps to make my faith relatable and practical for people in all walks of life.

. What advice would you give to aspiring Gospel artists or content creators?

To aspiring gospel ministers or content creators, I’d say,
Keep your focus on the message you want to share Let your faith and passion guide you, and remember that your work is about serving others, not just gaining recognition.
Share your true self and let your content reflect who you are, both artistically and spiritually. Authenticity resonates deeply with people.
Additionally, Growth takes time. Don’t get discouraged by setbacks or slow progress. Trust that God has a plan for your journey and keep working diligently.
Finally, Always seek personal and spiritual growth. The stronger your foundation in faith, the more your work will reflect God’s love and impact others.
Stay grounded, stay focused, and use your gifts to make a positive difference!

. How do you measure success in your career and ministry?

I measure success by the impact I have on others, especially in how my music, content, and speaking inspire or uplift people. Success means staying faithful to my calling, growing spiritually, and building a strong, supportive community. It’s also about consistency, integrity, and remaining true to my values. Eventually, success is about making a lasting, positive difference and staying aligned with my purpose.

. Can you tell us about any upcoming projects or initiatives you’re excited about?

I’m so excited about a number of upcoming projects and initiatives that I believe will make a significant impact!

First, I’m organizing The Firstborn Tribe Conference, which is happening soon. This event is designed to empower firstborns to embrace their unique roles as leaders, trailblazers, and legacy-builders. With prayer sessions, workshops, and insightful discussions, we aim to unlock the full potential of firstborns, help them overcome challenges, and support those burdened by the weight of expectations. It’s going to be a transformative experience, and I can’t wait to see the impact it will have!

I’m also working on a new worship project—a fresh sound and worship medley session filled with powerful messages that I’m eager to share with my audience.

In addition, I’m in the final phase of writing my first book, which will be ready for publishing by the end of the year. I’m beyond excited to share this project with the world!

Another exciting initiative is a content series I’m launching on The Firstborn Tribe’s YouTube channel. This series will explore the unique firstborn experience, featuring seasoned guests and firstborns sharing their personal stories, lessons, and practical tips for thriving in this role. The series will include podcasts, blog posts on our website [www.firstborntribe.org](http://www.firstborntribe.org), and live discussions across our social media platforms. My goal is to help raise firstborns who are whole, healthy, and empowered—not broken by the weight of expectations. We’ll also partner with parents and experts to create awareness on how to nurture resilient, well-rounded firstborns.

I’m looking forward to connecting more deeply with my community through these initiatives and witnessing the incredible outcomes they will bring!

. How do you handle criticism or negative feedback, and how do you use it to grow?

I see it as an opportunity for growth and self-reflection.
reminding myself that criticism doesn’t define me, it’s an opportunity to learn. I stay open to feedback, even if it stings at first, and approach it with humility, recognizing that no one is perfect and there’s always room for improvement. I focus on the constructive elements and try not to let any negative comments affect my self-worth.

. What legacy do you hope to leave through your music, content, and ministry?

The legacy I hope to leave through my music, content, and ministry is one of faith, authenticity, and impact. I want to inspire people to live with purpose, trust in God’s plan for their lives, and find strength in His love, no matter what they face. My goal is to create contents that not only entertains but uplifts, encourages spiritual growth, and fosters a deep connection with God.
I hope to be remembered as someone who was Authentic in sharing both my struggles and victories, showing others that faith is not about perfection but about perseverance and grace. I want my music and content to be a source of comfort and hope for those going through tough times, and a reminder of God’s faithfulness and transformative power.

Ultimately, I want to leave a legacy that reflects God’s love, one that encourages others to boldly step into their own purpose, embrace their identity in Christ, and live a life that makes a positive, lasting difference in the world.

Thank you so much for having me!
