There was tension in the early hours of Monday as a helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) crashed in Tami community, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Reports around the crash are still sketchy as of news time.

However, the sleep of residents of the area was said to be cut short when a loud sound from the crash site emerged at about 5 am.
The locals said they rushed to the scene of the crash where they saw the pilot emerging from the wreckage.
