Nasarawa govt. committed to citizens welfare – Deputy Gov.

The Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe has restated the state government`s commitment to the welfare of its citizen.

Akabe stated this on Wednesday while inspecting the All Progressives Congress (APC) office in the Southern Senatorial zone, Lafia, set for renovation.

He said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration had embarked and was still embarking on good policies and programmes that have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

Akabe said that the APC Southern zonal office was due to undergo renovation, hence the need to see things for himself.

“A comprehensive renovation will be carried out on the structure,” he said.

The deputy governor said that the renovation was to create an enabling working environment for the party and its officials in the zone.

He said that the party has done its best to touch the lives of the people of the state positively.

Akabe called for continued support from all and sundry to enable the state government to succeed in implementing its policies and programmes.

The member representing Keana constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Mohammed Adamu-Omafefu, and the APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Nasarawa South, Mr Mohammed Iyitogo were among those in Akabe`s entourage. ( NAN)
