The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that it is not giving money to anyone neither will it ask for money in exchange for employment.
It warned the public against scammers posing as the organisation.
Through the Head of Department, Surveillance and Epidemiology, Mrs Elsie Ilori, the NCDC has said that they are investigating the ongoing scam and they will bring the culprits to book.
Commenting on the delay in obtaining COVID-19 test results, she said that there is an increase in efficiency seeing five laboratories increase to sixty-four during the pandemic.
She also said the Centre is working to create a digital platform that when launched will provide seamless and speedy delivery.
