Some social media users have slammed popular Nigerian transgender, Daniel Nsikan, popularly known as Jay Boogie, over a recent video where he was dancing erotically.
Earlier in November 2023, the popular transgender had claimed both his kidneys were failing due to a botched BBL surgery, a claim that was slammed by one Doctor Loveth and influencer Tosin Silverdam.
Some netizens started a GoFundMe on his behalf to correct the surgery and save his life.
A few weeks after the GoFundMe started, Jay Boogie was accused of defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians by faking a health situation, but the transgender dismissed the allegations.

“Let me kneel and apologise. Nigerians, I’m sorry. I never scammed or defrauded Nigerians; it was all fake news. I can’t go around in circles. I just wanted to get well and come out and clear my name, and I’m sorry if anyone felt that way; I’m not that kind of person.
“I already posted what happened and even sought help, and people reached out. Doctor Loveth and one other lady reached out. I stopped things with the GoFundMe because I noticed something fishy,” his message read partly.
Regardless of past incidents, a recent video of Jay Boogie is trending and netizens are not finding it likely with the transgender.
“Few months after Nigerians contributed money for his or her BBL complications, Jay boogie is back and shaking what his doctor gave himshe,” Erica Kachi wrote on X.
Another X user, Ukamaka Okorie said, “This boy won’t learn. I hope he doesn’t learn the hard way though. I blame those who donated their hard-earned money to him.”
