Organizers of the Newstap/SWAN Five-Star award have made a presentation of a customized album to one of the recipients of the prestigious award Chief (Dr.) Robert Onyeani (Rocco).
Onyeani it is recalled was one of the five eminent Nigerians that was honored by Newstap and SWAN on March 6 at the Eko Club in Lagos.
Publisher of the leading online outfit George Aluo was at Enyimba Stadium Aba midweek where he presented the album to Chief Onyeani who was also with his wife, Elizabeth.
Onyeani who was visibly happy with the album presentation noted that the well packaged album captured the event in pictures.
“This is a collectors item and I cherish it just like the award itself,” Chief Onyeani stated.
He was again full of praise for Newstap and SWAN for what they are doing for Nigerian sports.
Onyeani stressed that he would on his part keep splashing his resources into the development of Nigerian football and discovering talents who ordinarily would have been roaming the streets doing nothing.
Onyeani is the proprietor of high flying women premier league side Ahudiya Nnem FC. He also has a male team that have since become giant killers in Abia football.
