Fédération Internationale de Football Association has approved 30,000 tickets which is 50% of the MKO National stadium capacity for the second leg in the world qualifiers match between Nigeria and Ghana.
Also, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and DAAR Communications on Thursday completed the signing of agreement with the Media Company as the Official Ticket Holders for the second leg match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana.
Speaking at the event held at the Conference Room, Sunday Dankaro House, the General Secretary of the NFF, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed said the essence of the partnerships is to make the sales of tickets easy to access for all Nigerians. He added that the federation didn’t doubt the capability when the media company approached them and after several meetings, both parties agreed on the deal.
“The essence of our meeting is to announce DAAR Communications as the right ticket holders.” Sanusi said.
DAAR Communications approached the NFF for the purpose and after several meetings they were considered capable of making tickets available to Nigerians who wish to watch the Super Eagles versus Ghana World Cup Playoff match in Abuja.
He added, “The President of the Federation couldn’t make it because he just returned from Amsterdam this morning.”
Also speaking, Chairman, DAAR Communications PLC, Raymond Dokpesi Junior, said it’s a joy to sign the ticketing deal with the NFF. He added the company has been a long time partner of the federation.

“It’s a great joy being here at the signing of the ticketing rights with the NFF. We have been a long partner of the federation but this is a rare occasion as we partner to make Ghana fall when they visit Nigeria for the second leg. It has been a long time since the Super Eagles played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja. In fact, none of the present crop of Super Eagles players have played a competitive game at the stadium.”
