The Nigerian Women Football league chairperson, Aisha Falode has sounded strong warnings to all the club owners of the league to be strict in adhering to the day-to-day runnings of their players’ welfare.
Falode who made this known in Abuja while speaking with Brila Radio, said that these warnings to all club owners became imperative following the complaints the Board had been receiving in the past.
“The league management will not condone any issues or complaints emanating from lack of payments of these girls’ salaries and if they, (club owners) don’t adhere, they will risk losing their place in the league.
“We are not comfortable with the news that we get in terms of how some clubs are managing these young girls and we want to make sure that, whatever is in the best interest of these girls is what we are going to stand with.
