Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has come under fire over her comment on the death of female doctor, Vwaere Diaso.

ThisNigeria reported that the late Diaso died after a faulty elevator of a Lagos hospital crashed from the 10th floor.

Addressing the media on the death of the young doctor, Mrs. Sanwo-Olu implied that the incident was caused by a spiritual attack.

She said, “An arrow has been fired into the health service”.

Her comment has sparked reactions from Nigerians, with many berating her for deviating from the actual cause of the tragic event.
