Nigerians react as RCCG church uses gay musician, Lil Nas X on program flier

Mixed reactions have trailed a Redeemed Christian Church of God youth program flier which had a photo of American gay artiste, Lil Nas X.
The filer, which was first shared by a Twitter user, @kayode_ani, had a photo of the “Old Town Road” crooner wearing a shirt with the “Anarchy” symbol.

While some Nigerians opined that the graphics designer was ignorant of the singer’s controversial nature, others insisted that the singer’s photo was used on purpose.
@KennyBlazeNG tweeted: “Guess they didn’t pay him well and he decided to protest quietly.”
@AmoweO tweeted: “Lmfaoooo!!! Omg, Either designer wasn’t paid enough or he doesn’t know: which is why it’s good to be knowledgeable about things happening around you, doesn’t stop your faith.”
@idkman_justeat tweeted “There’s no way you can convince me that this graphic designer didn’t know what they were doing.”
