Human rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho has said that nothing can stop the Yoruba Nation agitators from coming to Lagos to hold a mega rally.
Igboho said this through his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, in response to rumours that Chairman of Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (Lagos chapter), Musiliu Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo threatened to harm any Yoruba Nation agitator caught rallying in the state.
The rally which is scheduled to hold on July 3rd will take off from Ojota Park, Lagos.
Koiki during a live video said that the rally had been held in other states in the South-West, adding that it is a peaceful rally not meant to cause disruption in the state.
Controversy over council autonomy
“We are sending a peaceful message to Governor Sanwo-Olu. We do not mind any other person who is saying we should not come to Lagos.
“Sanwo-Olu is the chief security officer of the land and we are coming to Lagos.
“July 3rd is the most important date; nobody can say we should not come to Lagos. It is a peaceful rally.
“We have gone to Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and we had peaceful rallies, so nobody can stop us from not coming to Lagos.”
