The body of Obiageli Onakanse was found in a shallow grave in Asaba, Oshimili South LGA, Delta State. She was found with ghastly injuries to the head and multiple cuts on her body.
Onakanse, a 36-year-old interior decorator who lived in a rented apartment in a Government Reserved Area and was getting ready for her wedding had been reported missing for two weeks initially.
Arrests have been made in respects to the death of Obiageli. And Faleye Olaleye, the Deputy Commissioner for Police, has made it known that one of the arrested suspects was a Nollywood movie director by the name of Nonso Ekene.
Nonso Ekene was a co-tenant with the deceased. The other suspect in custody is Isaac Sunday, who happens to be a security officer in the area.
Both have confessed to the crime.
